40 Is The New 30

40. It’s the new 30. Really, it is.

People used to get married in their 20s, now we’re getting hitched and having kids in our 30s. People used to move out when they were 18, now we hang out at home for years beyond that.

I remember my dad’s 40th birthday. I was 15. There’s slim to no chance either Zacharie or Charles will remember this day of mine.

40. Can you believe it?

I’m looking for 40 people with 40 dollars for my 40th birthday. No Facebook wall greetings or comments on this post. I’d like it if you stepped up and helped Team Diabetes with a quick and easy $40 donation.

And if you only can afford 30, that’s okay. After all, 40 is the new 30.
