What’s intriguing for me about this weather, is that it’s an all time low occurring during my first week on the air. My final week on the air in Vancouver was the hottest ever in the city, my first week on air in Calgary is setting all time low records in Alberta.
Interesting.
In won’t be locked in for the season though, as many locals remind me: “Just wait for the chinooks.” We’ll get one mid-week when the temperature will take a nearly 35 degree swing to +4 by Thursday. Wild.

I moved here September 1st, 2009 from Vancouver for a JOB! I lived in Vancouver for 17 years….. I am originally from Montreal.
Gotta tell ya, that I do NOT remember DEC ever being this cold in Montreal. Only Jan or Feb. Holy smokes……
My friends and family in both provinces can't stop making FUN of me!!! LOL
