Moving Road Movie

20091204 cowboy

This past weekend Jen and I drove from Vancouver to Calgary. If you looked at the news and weaher reports, you would have called us insane. There were blizzards in Calgary, howling winds and many Alberta Highways were closed.

We managed to dodge all of it with some of the best road conditions for the trip I ever could have imagined. There was a little slush in Sumas, some blowing snow on the Coquihalla and a few icy spots in the Rockies, but it was easy for us. Not so easy for the semis, we saw 6 in ditches along the way. (why do those guys drive like maniacs?)

Here’s our moving road movie:

  • The drive between Lake Louse and Banff is gorgeous… when the weather's nice. Glad to hear you made it to Cowtown in one piece. Jen's back in Vancouver? So she flew back after accompanying you on this long ass drive?
