Honeymoon on HeliJet Is First Class
After our wedding on the weekend we took a quick jet set honeymoon to Victoria for a night. And we wanted to do it in style, so we took HeliJet.
After arriving at the HeliJet Harbour Heliport on the Vancouver waterfront in our wedding best, we were immediately congratulated by the counter clerk before being asked if we wanted to take some photos down by the machine.
Seriously?
We had our wedding photographer drive us to the heliport with hopes for some shots, but the private “Canada’s Next Top Wedding Model” treatment was over the top.
Even in the lounge, the service for everyone who boards a HeliJet is first class. Complimentary snacks, coffee, water, juice, bagels, cereal etc are all there for the waiting. With a heavy business clientele jetting between the BC business and government centres, you can appreciate that quality of service is a top priority for HeliJet.
What a blast, and a great treat for our wedding night. Actually, it was so quick and convenient, I’d hook it up anytime I was going to head off to the island for a round of golf or maybe even The Royal Victoria Marathon. In, out, quick, easy.
Helijet isn’t just for Victoria-Vancouver travel either. As the summer season is in full tourist swing, you can grab the Helijet from the top of Grouse Mountain and take city or mountain tours. Can you imagine helicopter ride through the ears of the Lions? Woah.

Everything above is genuine, not a paid advertisement. Gotta give the love where it’s earned, I’ve got a couple more reviews from the twoneymoon to come – one with love, one without and we paid for it all.
My favourite part of the video: where Zacharie grabs his mom’s legs, enveloping himself in all that wedding dress. But the helicopter ride was pretty cool too.
