If You Twitter At A Wedding, You’re At A Twedding

Twitter fans like to coin new words for things they do by adding “tw” to the beginning of the word. There’s Twestival, Twelebrities, Tweeps, and this weekend Stephen Fung coined a new one: Twedding.

buzz bishop twitters at his weddingYes, I got married on Saturday, and as I stood across the lawn from The Teahouse in Stanley Park at Ferguson Point waiting nearly 45 minutes for my bride to arrive, I took to Twitter to kill the time and calm the nerves.

Aaaaaand the bride is 15 minutes late. #wedding #waitingatthealtar #coldfeet

We have limo. #phew #wedding

Deep breath. Let’s do this. #wedding

Thanks to all who responded to my tweets, calming my nerves and killing the time before the twedding could finally get underway and go off beautifully.

The best part though, is after the twedding, comes the twoneymoon.
