I Collect Do Not Disturb Signs
People collect all sorts of weird things. Legendary broadcaster Red Robinson found so many unique collectors over his time he even had a show about the people and their bizarre attic fetishes.
Jennifer and I’s collection is odd, but it’s not along the lines of those people – yet. It started when we went to Cuba a few years back. We thought the spanish Do Not Disturb sign which said “No Molestar” on one side was funny, so we tucked it into our suitcase.
Then on the next trip to Seattle, we did it again. Then Portland, Paris and most recently the NY NY Las Vegas.

Like I said, our collection isn’t huge, it isn’t special, one guy has more than 5000 of them, but they are fun and unique reminders of our family’s vacations. We have them hanging on our bedroom and bathroom doors, which is why the Portland sign is now missing from our collection (toddlers like to rip at paper hanging from doorknobs).
What do you collect?

Buzz, your collection is unique. Haven’t heard of that before. I like to collect shot glasses from wherever I go or where my friends/family visit. My sister bought me one and is leaning to the side like the Tower of Pisa.
