Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and the cast of Twilight: New Moon have been setting tween hearts a flutter in Vancouver for the past number of weeks, and they will continue throughout the spring as the vampire sequel shoots around Vancouver.

VanCity Allie has proven quite adept at stalking the set, crashing their shoot at The Ridge Theatre, and then tracking them all down at the Arts Club Backstage Lounge when they attended a castmate’s concert.

If you’re not dialled in like Allie, it’s still easy to show your love for Team Edward, Team Jacob or whoever. You just need to look for the right sign.

Neon arrow signs are nothing new on the streets of Vancouver. And while many people pay no attention, the avid Hollywood stalker will know they point to the promise land. The arrows direct cast and crew to the sets. The arrows usually have initials related to the movie that’s being shot. In the case of Twilight: New Moon’s Vancouver shoot, certain clandestine tactics have been taken to keep the rabid fans at bay.

When they book locations to film they don’t tell the staff what they’re shooting exactly. Instead of Twilight, something called Untitled Sports Movie takes over for a few days, which leads us back to the mysterious glowing orange sign I saw on a tower at the corner of 1st and Boundary last night.
