Here are some of the JunoFest events you can check out over the next few nights:
Juno Cup – Friday at UBC Thunderbird Arena – 730p
This year NHL Greats such as Paul Coffey, Russ Courtnall, Bob Probert and Cliff Ronning will lace up against The Rockers, starring Barenaked Ladies, Blue Rodeo, Great Big Sea, and Sarah McLachlan.
Tickets are just $14.99
JunoFanFare – Saturday on Granville St – 11a-4p
It’s one big autograph session featuring Carly Rae Jepsen, City and Colour, Deborah Cox, Elise Estrada, Faber Drive, Kreesha Turner, Marianas Trench and more.
The WestJet Street Party – Saturday on Granville St- gates at 730p
Virgin Radio features one of Vancouver’s hottest bands of 2008 – State of Shock [on stage at 11p], plus local faves Faber Drive [10p] and JUNO Award nominees Midway State [9p] and The Latency [8p].
Tickets are $15

You know what is missing in all that? Activities where you can bring your kids to learn about music…meet the ‘artist’ to inspire them to go places. Catered to them, for them and they can have fun at the same time.
Good point, but you should know I didnt post everything that’s happening .. just picked out some highlights.
Last night I saw the doors open at Tom Lee Music on Granville St with bands playing for free. There are songwriter circles. The FanFest is a great event for kids to meet bands they like.
