Virgin Radio Vancouver Attempts to Remove Canucks Curse!
Virgin Radio Vancouver today announced it would harness the forces of good to assist the Canucks in breaking their eight game losing streak in time for Tuesday’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes.
At high noon on February 3rd , Virgin Radio Vancouver will employ the services of a Pseudomystic to attempt to remove the curse from GM Place, home of the Vancouver Canucks. The Pseudomystic will bring to bear all manner of neo-scientific methods to chase out the demons.
“I expect to open up with some manner of blessing ceremony, then roll into an exercise where I ask the curse to leave,” said Pseudomystic Buckley Aaronson. “Once I can gauge the intensity level of the curse, I’ll probably roll out the heavy hitters – rhyming couplets, dry ice, onomateopia, and syllabilism. With any luck, the demons will be driven out by game time.”
Fans are invited to join the forces of good on Abbot Street across from GM Place on Tuesday February 3rd, 2009 at 12 noon. Seriously. We’ll be there removing the curse.
