Benchmark Safe Cut is the new Chia Pet

For the past few years, Jen and I have joked about the Benchmark Safe Cut, a utility knife to help you open sealed plastic packages.

Great, handy, awesome.. except it comes in a sealed plastic package. FAIL.

I do have to say that after I ripped my hands apart trying to get that package open, it was pretty handy to have for the rest of the morning’s gifting.

BUAHAHAHAH! I got something similar and though the EXACT same thing...how the F*** am I supposed to get it out of the PLASTIC packaging! LOL...works great once you get it open though!

I thought Jen's gasp of horror when you said "...worst Christmas present ever..." was priceless!
  • They do try to have fun with it, saying it's the last package of that type you'll have to struggle to open, but yeah, that does suck.

Better than my previous method, especially (follow the links to read Mark Cuban's blood-drawing story). Some "easy open" packaging does actually work though, as I discovered last year.

Why more packages aren't like that, especially for the Benchmark cutter, I don't know.
