Best. Sandwich. Ever.

It’s almost lunch time and I am really craving my favourite sandwich from when I was a kid. Remember, I invented this as an 8 yr old, so you might think it’s creepy, but it’s frickin fan-tas-tic!!

Yup, peanut butter, lettuce and mayonnaise.

You have to use iceberg lettuce, not the leafy stuff. It’s gotta be crunchy. The tang of the mayo, the crisp of the lettuce and the smooth of the peanut butter is sweet childhood heaven.

Don’t believe me?? Another site actually has a recipe for it!

Okay, I showed you mine. Now you show me yours?

that is actually a bit tempting to try! when i was a kid – i took a can(each) of chef boyardee ravioli, creamed corn and heinze brown beans – mixed it all together in the pot and indulged in heaven (least i thought so at the time) haven’t tried in years – kinda scared too!

  • If I had a sandwich cart in your hood, you’d be coming down every day for lunch.

    Try it, you’ll like it.
