Forever Faithful: A Canucks Movie Interview

Forever Faithful: A Canucks Movie is hitting screens tonight, for one night only.

“The Vancouver Canucks are very fortunate to have such a strong fan base in our community,” said CEO & President, Canucks Sports & Entertainment, Chris Zimmerman. “Throughout the seasons our fans have shown loyalty through the thick and thin and we wanted to capture the magic behind their devotion to the team. We feel that this film will be very relatable for our fans.”

Forever Faithful: A Canucks Movie follows the Vancouver Canucks from a number of vantage points throughout the 2007.08 season. The documentary focuses on 10 fans and their reactions and sentiments about the team. Interviews from key players and management were also captured in explaining the devotion Vancouver fans have to the team and what it means to be a part of the hockey culture in British Columbia.

The 90 minute film will be featured on November 10, 2008 at select Cineplex Entertainment Theatres and Landmark Cinemas.

Fans unable to attend the exclusive screening will have the opportunity to add Forever Faithful: A Canucks Movie to their collection when DVDs go on sale at Save-On-Foods and Overwaitea Foods in late November. The DVD will contain a number of bonus features, including the Roberto Luongo Canucks TV Special and On Frozen Pond, an introduction to the 2008.09 Vancouver Canucks. There will also be a chance to win exclusive prizes, including signed jerseys and sticks and tickets to Trevor Linden Night Dec. 17 vs Edmonton, with the purchase of a DVD.

I had a chance to interview Vancouver Canucks President, Chris Zimmerman, about the movie this morning.

Looking for a way to get this movie living in the US. It isn't being sold down here. Anyone have any suggestions on how I may be able to get this for my husband by christmas?
