Really, though, if I could super suggest a wine for y’all to pick up this weekend it’s Gabbiano. I’ve talked about it before. It doesnt have a sexy label, but the stuff that’s inside is all good. Go with me on this one, don’t taste with your eyes, taste with your mouth. To do that you’ll need to pick up a bottle or three and bring them home.

We’re in for another scorching weekend and the Gabbiano Pinot Grigio is perfect. The tasting notes say:

A vibrant palate with fresh tropical fruit flavours; finishing long with punch acidity.

In other words, it’s a summer weekend in a bottle. Sit on the porch, have a big salad with some grilled tuna or chicken or salmon and just linger with friends. That’s what it’s about gang, and it’s only $10.90. PERFECT!

Now if something red makes you heat up with steaks and kebabs and a cuddle under the patio heater once the fireworks start, then the Gabbiano Chianti is what you need.
