tantalus rieslingYeah, I know it’s not Wednesday.

Things got a little hectic as Jen and I sample the 2007 Tantalus Riesling from the Okanagan.

Aromas of grapefruit and floral spice followed by intense flavours of lemon zest, juicy lime, melon and flint, characterize this cool growing season vintage. Fermentation lasted 30 days, during which time, temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees Celsius were maintained. Cold tolerant yeasts were used to capture the lively, concentrated fruit characteristics.
