Team Diabetes Easter Island: One Year Countdown

easter island marathonWe are now into the countdown. This past weekend the 2008 edition of the Easter Island Marathon went down, and in one year, I will be there with Team Diabetes.

So far I haven’t been able to nail down this year’s results but I did manage to dig up the 2007 finishing times, and this Chilean news story about the 2007 event.

While I’m there I might also offer up my services in web design. The official home of the race is a little, um, well, … broken.

“We had a strong response from the islanders and mainland Chile in this past years,” said Race Director Rodrigo Salas. “The last six years we welcomed runners from around the world.”
