I never really appreciated Mother’s Day until I had a son. I mean, you love your Mom, but I just don’t think I fully got it, until Z landed in my lap.

Watching the sacrifice, the love, the devotion Jen has to our son is inspiring. Yeah, I’m now the #2 man in her life, but it’s understandable. The bond between mother and child is unchallengeable. She is perfect. He is perfect. They were made for each other.

So watching Jen’s relationship with Z and the sacrifices she has made to make sure he gets everything he needs has helped me to really, and truly, appreciate the efforts my “Moms” made.
