I agree it's easy, but a lot easier if you have a husband that helps. If you were like me, Csilla didn't sleep and Balazs barely makes toast. I was so sleep deprived that I'm surprised I made it to the store to buy the jarred stuff, let alone use a stove to cook and make my own...

I'm not shooting you down. I applaud you. Totally. I just wasn't able to do what you do.

My brother also just kept a food grinder on the table and would spoon out some of his food and grind it right there for his daughter. Ease up on the spices and you can have the whole family have the same thing each time.

Sure it might be tougher with the second one, but I still think it's way too easy to do.

I'm with Aneglla. I made food for Alexander, but when Amelia came along it was just too much to handle. I wasn't cooking for any of us in the days Amelia was eating baby food - there was a lot of um, "instant" meals happening. Yes it's easy, but it's time consuming. It nearly killed me to buy jarred food, until a friend said "what do you think is in there anyway?" I looked - veggies and water. Really nothing bad in that.

I never bought jarred meats/pasta. Just fruits & veggies.

You're an awesome Dad, I don't think many Dads are like you, and most Moms are already stressed as it is. :)

But good for you for encouraging people to make their own.

Sweet Pea, I'm going to make another video just for you to show how EASY it is.

I know you're well past this stage with Csilla.. but it's something ANY parent can do at the same time as they cook for themselves.

Thanks for the great advice and recipe. One question - Does Annabel Karmel's book come with a husband who is willing and able to do what you do? I'm just sayin'...

Not all men are like you Buzz. Jen's a lucky lady.
