The first time i heard of BPA was yesterday 6th May! I used avent products for all my babies (3) currently using tommee tippee bottles and microwave steamer with my 6 week old, so you can imagine my alarm. Im trying not to panic. NCT where on tv yesterday talking about this, ask viewers to ring if concerned, when I rang, the adviser said she didnt have a clue what I was talking about. I dont want to panic, but will see doctor and health visitors for advice and get kids checked. I feel such a bad mother as ive been surrounded by mums who solely breastfed their babies, I did both as my babies didnt get enough straight from the breast. Any advice for uk residents. I am really angry about this as I have been to the store about 4 times to buy the Born free bottles and they were out of stock every time. My baby needed something to drink from until I could replace the Avent. Today, May 6th - they have stock and guess what; they won't take my bottles.
