95Crave used to be called Z95, back in the day. While we’ve changed our name, our history dictates we do some similar things - like a sound effect contest. Back in the day, it was ZFX. Today, it is CraveFX.
We play a sound, you say it what it is, you win. Simple.
Now we’ve all heard thousands of people win things on the radio, they sound excited, but what’s really going on over there as they win a house, win a car, win thousands of dollars?
A couple of years ago, some guys videotaped themselves calling in to play ZFX. The following clip is a house full of half naked college boys losing it when their pal wins. (Even though he said on air when he guessed he wasn’t going to split it)
Awesome.

- I saw The Kite Runneron Saturday. My wife says it wasnt as good as the book, but we were both still in tears at the end. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant filmmaking.
- Crave FX is going to drive you mad. We play at 7:15, 10:15, 1:15 and 5:15.
- Britney is on the cover of every.single.tabloid. this week. She's creating more chaos today by reportedly adding her paparazzi boyfriend to her entourage. She also brought him to a custody hearing today.
- The Golden Globes were handed out last night. Yeah, I was watching the Amazing Race too. Good thing, cause I have no idea who many of the winners are.
- Christina and Nicole had their babies in the same ward of the same hospital on Friday. I love the story of how they sent "spies" down to the guest area to see who had a bigger present pile.
- Mary J Blige on steroids? That's what's being alleged of her, 50 Cent, Timbaland, Wyclef Jean and Tyler Perry. The Blog According to Buzz. Spread the word, ya heard?
It’s Romney v Huckabee v McCain v Edwards v Clinton v Obama and even Canadians who can’t hang a chad are glued to CNN/MSNBC/FoxNews trying to understand what the hell a caucus and a primary is.

Okay, so I bought many of my Christmas presents online, preaching the convenience and joy in doing so from my pyjamas to many of my friends, only to have a few of my gifts arrive in January. I guess 3 weeks wasnt enough time to come all the way north from Everett, Wa.
I would have thought things would be easier doing some Boxing Day shopping from Future Shop. Uh no.
Once again, I was laughing at all the sad sacks who camped out 20 hrs in the cold to save $200 on a flat panel tv. Yet here they are, enjoying all their HD goodness while I am still waiting for my tiny little SD Card and iPod Shuffle.
After re-checking my invoices etc last night, I found the parcel was shipped December 27. I got a tracking number and matched it up with Canada Post, who said my item was delivered January 7. It may have been delivered, but it wasn’t delivered to me.
So what do I do? I tried to send an email to Future Shop’s customer service, it bounced back undeliverable (of course). Do I take it up with FS? Canada Post? Visa?
I just wanted an 8 gig SD card and a cute shuffle. 3 weeks ago!
Online shopping still sucks.
