I have seen 2 movies in the past 6 months. It’s an effect that is directly proportional to the birth of my son. My mom babysat for us to have a “date night” for the Bourne Identity Ultimatum Supremacy 3 and then a couple weeks ago we saw American Gangster at the Twilight Drive In.

That’s it.

There was a time when I would see 3 or 4 movies a month and I would be fully versed in the pros and cons of each nominee for the Oscars or Golden Globes. This year I haven’t got a clue.

Even with the ability to download movies freely on the internet, I’m still not motivated to go and grab anything and cosy up with my Creative Zen and watch a flick. Nothing interests me.

That said, the Golden Globe nominations were announced today. The nominees are:
